Protect Yourself, Defend Yourself and Feel Safe In Your Surroundings
If there's one thing working in the entertainment industry taught me it's that there are some weird people out there! Out of all the models on Deal or No Deal I'm confident in my guestimation that at least 30% of us had either a stalker or some other un-welcomed interaction. As a woman you need to be aware of your surroundings. Walking to the car, walking your dog, walking in general has become so dangerous.

Years ago, I discovered a company that I not only swear by but refer all my friends (and maybe a few strangers) to. Damsel In Defense is a company whose mission is to empower and educate women to protect themselves and their families. One by one, they are changing statistics and giving back to the lives of those who have been assaulted by giving a portion of their proceeds to some amazing organizations and charities.
I currently own 2 of their items. The “Get A Grip” Stun Gun and the “Sock It To Me” Striking Tool. The striking tool stays on my keychain! I will warn you however, you can’t take it through the airport… I learned that the hard way and purchased a second one to replace it. Second warning, your immature friends will laugh at it and ask you if it's a sex toy so ready some come backs!
The stun gun is awesome and I use it all the time. It’s super cute and has a strap on it that goes around your wrist. If the strap comes off, the device is no longer usable. I was stunned to learn it’s rechargeable and also has a flash light which I use often while walking the dogs.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about selling Damsel In Defense items on my site and maybe hosting a few parties. Don’t know if that’ll happen, I just get so excited about products that I believe in that also support causes and charities I believe in.
Check out the defense and line and let me know your thoughts. Is this something you would be interested in for yourself, loved one or friends?
